Fire Prevention, Protection & Community Education :

Fire service uses a wide variety of tools to educate the public in terms of fire protection and safety both in the workplace and at home. Special emphasis is always made a fire safety in the school system. To this end the fire service uses costumes, stage props, mechanical toys and devices, and a wide variety of publications to educate children and adults on the dangers of fire. The fire service also does a tremendous amount of work in the senior community educating seniors about the dangers of slips and falls and potential medical emergencies. The fire service is active in educating the community and how to better protect more importantly prevent injury and accidents.
