Firefighter Rehabilitation :

The physical acts involved in fire suppression are extremely demanding on the body, exposure to high heat, extreme risk, physical exertion and emotional stress can be extremely taxing on the cardiovascular system as well as generate high amounts of internal temperatures. Firefighters use a wide variety of products in firefighter rehab to include cooling chairs, fans, a wide variety of drinks, fruit and energy bars all designed to replenish and aid in the recovery of a normal resting physical condition. Some departments have even developed vehicles designed to assist with firefighter rehabilitation and to protect firefighters from extreme temperatures.
