Gloves :

Firefighters use a wide variety of gloves in the performance of their duties. Most commonly is the structural firefighting club which protects firefighters from the high heat of structure fires. Firefighters also use highly specialized work gloves to assist them in extrication as well as technical rescue skills such as rope and confined space. Firefighters also routinely use common work gloves to assist firefighters grip when using shovels, rakes and other tools which require a firm and steady grip.
