Pumps, gauges and meters :
Fire pumps come in a wide variety of manufacturers. They are either fixed to or within the apparatus or are portable for wildland firefighting purposes. Fire pumps have stages which enable the pump to create higher pressure or more volume. This is usually dependent on the type of fire emergency. The fire service uses gauges and meters to measure pressure and flow of water or other fire suppresent product from the pumps. - Please see more information below -
